【Summary】

Miḥakk-i Khusravī is an extensive poetic anthology (jung) that gathers ghazals by more than fifty poets of the late Safavid, Afsharid, Zand, and early Qajar periods. The poems are carefully organized according to classical Persian prosody, including metrical patterns, rhyme schemes, and refrains.

Among the poets represented are Āẕar Bigdilī, Āzād Kashmīrī, Darvīsh Majīd Ṭāliqānī, ʿĀshiq Iṣfahānī, Fatḥ-ʿAlī Shāh Qājār, Vālih Dāghistānī, Vālih Iṣfahānī, and Wāqif Lāhorī.
The anthology was compiled in 1232 A.H. (1817) at the request of Mīrkarm ʿAlī Khān, ruler of Sindh, and his brother Mīrmurād ʿAlī Khān. In addition to this work, the compiler is known for other writings such as Mujarrabāt al-ʿIlāj, Safīnat al-Shuʿarāʾ, and a Persian dīvān.
