【Summary】

This volume honors the life and scholarly legacy of Ahmad Golchin Ma‘ani  (1916–2000), one of the most distinguished researchers of Iranian and Islamic culture in the twentieth century. Golchin Ma‘ani devoted many years to research activities—including manuscript studies, cataloguing, bibliography, and textual criticism—at major institutions such as the Malik National Library, the National Consultative Assembly Library, and the Astan Quds Razavi Library.
Among his most notable achievements was the establishment of the Qurʾan Treasury at the Astan Quds Razavi Library and the identification and description of Qurʾanic manuscripts preserved there (Guide to the Qurʾan Treasury, 1968). His influential studies on the Indian Style in Persian poetry and on Persian tadhkiras remain foundational.
The present festschrift includes essays and studies on his biography, scholarly personality, bibliography of works, critical evaluations, and related topics in textual and manuscript research.
