Ṣaḥīfat-i Jaʿfarī is a treatise devoted to the life and legacy of Imāmzādah Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ʿArīḍī (d. 424 A.H.), whose shrine in the city of Yazd also serves as the burial place of several notable figures, including members of the Ḥammūʾī family. Only a portion of the original work has survived.
The text was composed in 962 A.H., during the reign of Shāh Ṭahmāsb I, by Sayyid Muḥammad Nūrbakhsh, affiliated with the Nūrbakhshī Sufi order, and written for Shāh Niʿmat Allāh Yazdī (Bāqī), a descendant of Shāh Niʿmat Allāh Walī. The treatise exemplifies the interaction and mutual recognition among different Sufi-oriented currents in Safavid Iran and offers valuable insight into religious networks and shrine culture in Yazd.
