Rawḍat al-Taslīm, also known as Taṣavvurāt, is one of the most important works of Naṣīr al-Dīn Ṭūsī and the most comprehensive exposition of Nizārī Ismaili doctrinal principles from the Alamūt period. The text brings together a systematic presentation of Ismaili theological and philosophical concepts and belongs to the author’s discourses and dictations (amālī), later compiled by Ḥasan Maḥmūd Kātip.

This critical edition is based on a thorough re-examination of reliable manuscript sources and was prepared as the editor’s doctoral dissertation at the University of Oxford.
