This book presents a scholarly investigation of several important manuscript texts in the fields of philosophy, theology, and theoretical mysticism preserved in major libraries of Istanbul. Rather than serving as a general catalog, the work provides focused analytical reports on selected manuscripts, emphasizing their textual significance, historical context, and intellectual value.

Among the manuscripts examined are an early Persian translation of al-Milal wa al-Niḥal by al-Shahrastānī, Ḥadāʾiq al-Ḥaqāʾiq by Zayn al-Dīn Kashshī, four philosophical encyclopedic works by Athīr al-Dīn al-Abharī, and manuscript witnesses of Nihāyat al-Aqdām by al-Shahrastānī.
