Uṣūl al-Ḥukm fī Niẓām al-ʿĀlam is one of the most significant works on Islamic political thought produced in the late Ottoman period. Written by Ḥasan Kāfī al-Aqḥiṣārī, a prominent Bosnian scholar of the Māturīdī theological tradition, the treatise examines the theoretical foundations of governance and analyzes the structural causes behind the strength and weakness of Islamic political systems.
