【Summary】

This three-volume work is a continuation of the four earlier volumes of Bibliography of Persian Works Printed in the Indian Subcontinent, first published in 2012. The initial four volumes documented approximately 11,000 Persian titles in over 20,000 editions printed between 1781 and 2007.

Volumes five and six cover Persian works published in the Indian subcontinent between 2008 and 2023, while also incorporating titles omitted from earlier volumes. These volumes additionally revise, correct, and expand bibliographical data relating to authorship and publication details that were incomplete or inaccurate in previous editions. Together, they register more than 3,500 newly documented Persian works.

The seventh volume consists entirely of indexes for volumes five and six, including Persian and Latin title indexes, facsimile listings, and personal name indexes in both scripts. The work constitutes the most up-to-date and authoritative reference for modern Persian publishing in South Asia.
