【Summary】
Gholamhossein Yusofi was a distinguished professor of Persian language and literature at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Born in Mashhad in 1928, he completed his early education there before continuing his studies in Persian literature at the University of Tehran.
He pursued doctoral studies between 1949 and 1951 and simultaneously worked in the Khorasan Cultural Organization. In addition to literature, he also completed a degree in law at the University of Tehran.
With the establishment of the Faculty of Literature in Mashhad, Yusofi began teaching literary history in 1955 and continued to teach undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses until his retirement in 1979. This volume examines his academic career, scholarly achievements, and lasting influence on Persian literary studies.
