【Summary】

Faḍl Allāh Rūzbihān Khunjī, a prominent scholar and historian contemporary with the Āq Qoyūnlū, early Safavid, and Shaybānid periods, composed this work based on his own observations and reliable oral reports. The chronicle focuses on the reign of the Bayandur rulers from Uzun Ḥasan to the death of Sulṭān Yaʿqūb, while also documenting the decline of the Timurid rulers of Herat and the emergence of the Safavid dynasty. In the introduction, the author addresses the question of the Prophet’s caliphate. The book is an important source for understanding social classes, administrative offices, and ethnic groups of the period.
